Athletics and Cubs in the 1910 World Series, from Helmar
1910: Philadelphia vs. Chicago. Helmar, not published.
The Philadelphia Athletics took the 1910 World Series four games to one over the Chicago Cubs. Here we see players from both teams milling about on the field before one of the games in that Fall Classic.
Very cool! Love to see that on an art card . . . I was able to make out Chance, Plank and Mordecai Brown on the left, but I have to admit I had to go to Google Images to ID Davis, Sheckard and Archer 🙂 I love how laid back they all seem to be, before going to battle.
WOULD YOU BE PRINTING SOMETHING LIKE THIS?

Hello Paul, I would like to. It would be sort of crowded for a small card, I think. What size and format would you suggest? thanks, Charles

Lots of talent standing there. I wonder how much a ticket to the game cost?
