Card Spotlight: Japan’s “God of Batting,” Tetsuharu Kawakami

Known in his home country as “The God of Batting,” Tetsuharu Kawakami won five batting titles and was one of the most famous players in Japanase baseball. A master at making contact and known for his red bat, Kawakami once struck out only six times in a full season.
