Back in the early 90s, I collected stereoview cards and viewers before they became crazy expensive. Some of the pictures they have are a lot like this. Capturing scenes of daily life in the Victorian Age that have been lost or forgotten. I have most of the series of cards from President McKinley’s Funeral and several of San Francisco prior to the big earthquake. They are a lot of fun to look at.
