Our good friend Tom Derry will be hosting his 25th Annual party for the Babe on the 4th, this Saturday night! I am planning to attend…will you be coming? If so, make sure to email me so that I can look for you!
Babe Ruth’s grandson Tom Stevens and great-grandson Brent Stevens will be in attendance. Nemo’s once ranked the number 3 sports bar in America by Sports Illustrated, is located at 1384 Michigan Avenue, just a couple blocks east of the Tiger Stadium site. The bar will be completely decked out with Ruth memorabilia. Yes, there will be a birthday cake.
A big congratulations to Tom, twenty-five years is a big deal. What started as a lark (twelve people showed up in 1988) has turned into one of Detroit’s top annual events!
